Jordan Francis
We’ll folks, it's the last first show friday of the month, that month went by fast didnt it. This week we got to talk to the extremely talented Jordan Francis!
“The first show I ever played was an all ager at New Dawn when I was 15, before all the renovations there. Played the show with my band Mercy For The Lost, when it was just Josiah (drums) and myself (guitar). My favorite memory of the show is from the first 0.001 seconds of our set - we were covering “Little Monster” by Royal Blood and on the first hit Josiah's cymbal fell off the stand and we had to start from scratch hahaha. Good times though.”
Anyone who went to all ages shows around 2016-18 knows how cool mercy for the lost was. These days Jordan mostly either plays solo or alongside Eric Angus Whyte!
“The whole experience made me want to play more shows. The bands we played with were all wild and the energy they had blew my 15 year old mind. It was when The Camper Vans had first started and they were easily one of the most fun bands I had seen and I wanted to have that much fun on stage anytime I played after that.”
it was great being able to talk to Jordan this week! check back next week for another First Show Friday!
