Community Membership
As a community/campus radio station, we rely on members both on and off the Cape Breton University campus.
Community members may be any individual living within Cape Breton Island that is not a member of the Cape Breton University Students’ Union.
Why would you want to be a member? Because you support independent media, want to grow the arts and culture industry, and believe that young people deserve a voice in our community.
Annual Membership fee is currently being determined. This membership tier allows for you to vote at our Annual General Meeting, be nominated for our Board of Directors, and to be a host or programmer on our station!
We want everyone to feel they can be a member of Caper Radio. If you are un(der)waged, please reach out and we will waive the fee. We do not need an explanation, we are happy to accommodate.

CBUSU Membership
As a member of the Cape Breton University Students’ Union, you are already a member! CBUSU pay $1 per 3 credit course and are the heart and soul of the Caper Radio community.
So why is it important to be a member of Caper Radio? We are the voice for the underrepresented, allowing for student issues and student life to be part of the greater community. We want our CBUSU members to be our staff, our volunteers, and our content generators.
Your membership allows for you to vote at our Annual General Meeting, be nominated for our Board of Directors, and to be a host or programmer on our station!

Non-Profit Membership
As a community/campus radio station, we rely on members both on and off the Cape Breton University campus.
Non-profit Members may be non-profit organizations that are operating within Cape Breton.
Why would you want to be a member? Because you believe that supporting community and campus endeavours makes for a more enriched community. You want to reach our members, our community, and empower them to be leaders within your organization as well.
Annual Membership tier fee is currently being developed. This membership allows you two representatives to vote at our Annual General Meeting, be nominated for our Board of Directors, and to be a host or programmer on our station!
