Steven MacDougall

Happy Friday!! We were so busy with the hurricane last week (lets blame it on that and not just that i played too much animal crossing, time doesn't exist without power) that we missed a first show friday 🫣 i know, insane, but were back this week with a great interview from Steven MacDougall!!

“The first show I ever played was at my high school (Donkin High School) . It was probably 1993. It was a variety show type of thing, it was some friends from high school kind of band geek kind of guys, we played Enter Sandman, and Black Sabbath paranoid.”

Steven has played in multiple bands. His first band was called Absolute and after that he played in Emily, named after the Pink Floyd song “See Emily Play.” He then went on to play in Hauler, and the legendary Slowcoaster.

“My biggest take away that I can remember was playing these rock songs feeling that feeling of loud music and having a great crowd response from my friends and people that weren't my friends as well. Ever since I was a tiny kid I was always dreaming about what it would be like on stage and this is my first little taste of it.”
